Kayla Patterson is the Owner and Operator of The Haven Firm, where she is dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered representation in family law, criminal defense, and immigration matters. Based in Northwest Alabama, Kayla has built her career on a commitment to guiding individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging moments with empathy, integrity, and strength.

Kayla earned her Juris Doctor from Birmingham School of Law in 2022 and her Bachelor’s degree from Kaplan University. With more than a decade of experience in the legal field—including eight years as a paralegal and over two years as a practicing attorney—Kayla brings both deep practical knowledge and a personal understanding of how legal issues affect her clients’ lives.

Her practice is rooted in family law, where she has extensive experience handling divorce, custody, child support, DHR defense, and adoption cases. As her firm continues to grow, Kayla is also expanding her advocacy to include immigration law, helping families build safe and stable futures in the United States.

Known for her compassionate yet determined approach, Kayla believes that every client deserves to feel heard, supported, and protected. At The Haven Firm, she strives to create a space where clients can find not just legal solutions—but peace of mind.
